Description:
The existing building was expanded from a maximum capacity of 9,800 spectators to 15,504. It has a total surface area of 24,632.76 m2 distributed throughout 3 floors and corresponding bleachers.

The building incorporates the latest energy efficiency technologies, such as a geothermal system for heating and cooling of the offices, 5,000 m2 of photovoltaic solar panels that produce 439 kWp, 200KVA fuel cell system, system for the collection of rainwater for internal use, air vein injection burner air conditioning equipment, automated control of all installations, etc.

Energy reductions achieved: Reduction of energy consumption of some 40%, reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere of 44.6% and reduction of raw material consumption of 10%. Under optimal use conditions, the building produces more energy than it consumes.

This project was carried out in accordance with the certification specifications regarding construction sustainability, BREEAM.
